Arsenal Wonderkid Max Dowman Adds Three Guinness World Records to Incredible Rise

Max Dowman has continued to make history at Arsenal after being officially recognized with three Guinness World Records following his remarkable breakthrough during the 2025-26 season. The teenage winger, who will not turn 17 until December, has already established himself as one of the most exciting young talents in English football.
Dowman made 13 senior appearances last season and produced one of his most memorable moments against Everton in the Premier League. He scored after carrying the ball from his own half, getting past two opponents and finishing into an unguarded net after goalkeeper Jordan Pickford had moved forward for a corner. At 16 years and 73 days old, the goal made Dowman the youngest scorer in Premier League history.
His record-breaking journey had already begun in Europe. At just 15 years and 308 days, Dowman came off the bench during Arsenal's Champions League victory over Slavia Prague, becoming the youngest player ever to appear in the competition. He also became the only 15-year-old to have played in the Champions League, adding another extraordinary milestone to his early career.
Dowman then completed his trio of Guinness World Records when Arsenal won their first Premier League title since 2004. At 16 years and 144 days, he became the youngest player ever to receive a Premier League winners' medal. The previous record belonged to Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden, who was 17 when he was part of City's historic 100-point title-winning campaign.
Although Dowman narrowly missed another record for the youngest Premier League debut, his development has continued at an impressive pace. He has already carried that momentum into the new season, scoring twice in Arsenal's Carabao Cup victory over Ipswich in September. With Arsenal preparing to face Leeds again, the same opponent against whom Dowman made his senior debut, attention will once again be on the teenage star and his next potential milestone.
